Job summary

Pronto AI seeks a Field Operations Manager to lead on-site deployments of autonomous haulage tech across U.S. mining sites.

You will bridge Pronto’s cutting-edge technology with customer operations, manage a high-performing technical team, and ensure safety and performance criteria are met during deployments. The role requires 15+ years of mining experience, 5–10 years in leadership, and proven tech rollout experience.

Qualifications

• Mining experience with 15+ years in mining environments.
• Leadership roles of 5–10 years (e.g., Site Superintendent, Maintenance Manager, Fleet Manager).
• Experience with technology rollouts such as autonomy, remote operations, telematics, or machine control systems.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects to performance metrics and safety criteria, integrating autonomous systems into production cycles.
• Lead the local field team, managing permitting, scheduling, safety, and performance.
• Hold the customer accountable for deliverables, resources, and equipment readiness.
• Serve as the primary communication hub between the site and Pronto HQ, with regular progress updates.
• Collaborate with customers to modify processes for autonomous haulage integration.
• Lead customer training and formal handover of the system to the mine’s operations team.
