Job summary

The Women's Health Department at WMCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) service. The PA will work alongside experienced MD and APP colleagues managing a wide variety of GYN patients in a collaborative but autonomous setting.

The role includes independent visits, complex evaluations, procedures, and operative assistance in Robotic and Laparoscopic surgeries across affiliated centers.

Qualifications

• Board Certified as a PA-C with NYS license.
• Minimum of 2 years ambulatory Gynecology experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Strong communication skills and high-acuity clinical judgment.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• See patients independently for annual GYN visits, follow ups, urgent visits and post-op visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow patients with diverse GYN oncologic diagnoses.
• Perform procedural visits (bladder instillations, IUD removals/insertions, endometrial biopsies, trigger point injections).
• Provide operative assist for Robotic and Laparoscopic surgeries at multiple centers.
• Contribute to a flexible practice model supporting growth and evolving clinical needs.
• Receive mentorship and support within the Center for Advanced Practice.
