Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) program across multiple sites. The PA provides first-assist in the OR, perioperative and postoperative care, and supports continuity of care through the surgical episode.

You will work with four fellowship-trained MIGS surgeons, participate in high-volume robotic and MIS gynecologic surgeries, and travel between Mercy Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, United Hospital, and ambulatory

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in MN required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist and perioperative support for MIGS surgeries.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and manage perioperative orders and inpatient/outpatient care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and OR staff to ensure safe surgical care.
• Coordinate inpatient postoperative rounds, discharge planning and follow-up.

Education

Master's degree - Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
