Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) physician to join our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role focuses on expert surgical care for complex gynecologic conditions with advanced laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques, plus resident and fellow education.

The successful candidate will lead in high-volume surgery, contribute to outpatient clinics, and participate in teaching, research, and scholarly activity

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) from an AAGL-recognized or equivalent program.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOA).
• Advanced surgical competency in laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques for complex benign gynecologic disease.
• Robotic surgery certification with high-volume robotic experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-volume surgical and clinical practice with complex laparoscopic/robotic cases.
• Serve as departmental trainer for laparoscopic/robotic techniques and program development.
• Provide outpatient MIGS clinic and pre/postoperative evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for tumor boards and complex gynecologic care.
• Participate in education of residents and fellows and contribute to scholarly activity.
• Engage in quality improvement and adherence to ERAS protocols.
