Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) role in Roswell, GA. You will support preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care within a collaborative MIGS program.

The PA will balance independent clinic duties with surgeon-assisted procedures, manage new patient evaluations, follow-up care, and complex gynecologic cases while maintaining throughput and patient access.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-volume surgical practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and established gynecologic patients; develop care plans with supervising physician.
• Maintain a dedicated patient schedule to optimize surgeon capacity and patient access.
• Perform comprehensive preoperative histories, exams, and prepare patients for surgery.
• Oversee routine postoperative care and management; address pain, recovery, and discharge needs.
