Job summary

The Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Physician Assistant at Allina Health provides perioperative, inpatient, and outpatient support for a growing MIGS program. Working with four fellowship-trained MIGS surgeons, the PA assists in the operating room, manages perioperative care, and coordinates care across the surgical episode.

Responsibilities include first-assist for robotic and laparoscopic procedures, preoperative evaluations, clinic visits, perioperative orders, inpatient rounds,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist and perioperative support for MIGS surgeries.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and postoperative rounds.
• Coordinate perioperative plans and discharge planning.
• Clinic support when OR coverage is not required.
