Job summary

Komatsu West is seeking an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Technician to support the deployment and operation of autonomous mining technology on Komatsu 930E trucks. You will perform hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance and assist with system conversions.

The role requires a proactive approach, rotation shifts, and outdoor site work, with opportunities to grow through Komatsu's training programs and collaboration with senior technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment maintenance or mining operations experience.
• Certification or an associate degree in Diesel Technology or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on Komatsu 930E haul trucks in autonomous mining settings.
• Support conversion and commissioning of haul trucks to autonomous operation with diagnostics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on suspension, braking, hoist and steering systems.
