Job summary

AutoNation Inc. is seeking a Service Warranty Administrator to review and complete warranty claims, preparing, recording, reconciling, and submitting them to the appropriate party.

The role involves working with manufacturer warranty representatives, auditing repair orders, analyzing trends, and providing weekly status reports to the service manager. Strong communication, automotive knowledge, and ASE certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in an automotive dealership.
• ASE certification or completion of pre-employment test required.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Process all warranty claims by the next business day after RO close date.
• Handle and resolve claim corrections and charge-backs.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturer's warranty representatives.
• Review warranty repairs for proper completion and legibility.
• Analyze trends and develop strategies to improve claim processes.
• Audit warranty activity and assist service teams with questions.
