Jobgether seeks a Staff Embedded Software Engineer specializing in virtualization to transform ECU firmware into high-performance virtual devices. You will design and implement user-space runtimes, model hardware peripherals, and drive integration across hardware, middleware, and application software teams.

You will port firmware to virtual environments, contribute to HIL testing, and mentor peers on robust real-time architectures using C, C++, and Python.

Qualifikationen

• Over 10 years of embedded firmware experience with RTOS.
• Strong C/C++ and production Python coding expertise.
• Experience with automotive networks (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and SocketCAN.
• Experience porting firmware to virtual environments and host-based testing.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and enhance user-space runtime enabling firmware to run on host machines.
• Develop hardware models in C or Python with hardware engineers.
• Lead design reviews and mentor on RTOS, C/C++, and Python practices.
• Extend HIL testing frameworks and Pytest for virtual configurations and fault injection.
