Job summary

Kistler Instrument Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer for Vehicle Testing. You will support sales goals and provide technical assistance to customers at testing facilities in the US and Canada.

You will conduct product demonstrations, prepare quotes, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to drive growth in the vehicle testing segment. Occasional travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Experience in automotive test/development or similar technical/sales role preferred.
• Technical knowledge of automotive R&D sensors and electronics.
• Proficient with ERP/CRM systems (SAP).
• Strong MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand key needs and opportunities.
• Schedule meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Generate quotations and maintain CRM opportunity pipeline.
• Provide on-site support including product installation and training when needed.
