Job summary
Kistler Instrument Corporation is seeking a sales-focused engineer to help achieve sales goals for its Vehicle Testing offerings in the US and Canada. You will combine sales development with technical support, frequently visiting test facilities and customers to demonstrate products and solutions.
The role requires a engineering degree, automotive testing or technical sales experience, SAP proficiency, and up to 40% travel for on-site support, trade shows, and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience in automotive test/development or technical sales preferred.
- Technical knowledge of automotive R&D sensors and electronics.
- Proficient with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP.
Responsibilities
- Regularly meets with key customer needs and identifies opportunities.
- Schedules meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
- Generates quotations and maintains CRM opportunity pipeline.
- Provides on-site product installation and training for customers.
- Supports market development of service and rental opportunities.
- Gathers competitive intel and helps shape sales/marketing strategies.
- Participates in trade shows and follows up on opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
