Responsibilities include processing titles and registrations, reviewing paperwork for completeness, submitting documents to state agencies, and ensuring compliance across departments. Automotive title clerk experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous title clerk experience in an automotive dealership.
• Working knowledge of vehicle title and registration procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process titles and registrations for new, used, wholesale, and dealer-trade vehicles.
• Review sales paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit required documentation to state and county agencies.
• Process temporary tags, lien recordings, lien releases, and duplicate titles.
• Verify taxes, fees, payoff information, customer details, and lienholder information.
• Track outstanding titles and resolve missing or delayed title issues.
• Maintain accurate title schedules, logs, and supporting records.
• Work with customers, lenders, finance managers, accounting personnel, and government agencies.
• Follow all dealership, state, and federal compliance requirements.
• Assist the accounting department with related administrative duties as needed.
