Responsibilities

• Manage the titling process for all vehicle sales, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all paperwork.
• Research and verify ownership and lienholder information to ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documents.
• Communicate effectively with customers, banks, lienholders, and regulatory agencies to resolve any title-related issues or inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all title transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with the sales and finance departments to ensure smooth and efficient title transfers for vehicle sales.
• Stay up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and industry practices related to automotive titles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in automotive or administrative fields is a plus).
• Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive title processes and state-specific requirements.
