Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership accounting team in Harlingen, TX. The role requires accuracy and strong attention to detail with title processing experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will process registrations, prepare tax and title documents, submit endeavors to the DMV, and verify lien payoffs and funds. Prior title processing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in title processing and registrations preferred.
• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicle registrations for appropriate states.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit title work to the DMV and verify lien payoff.
• Research registration status as requested by customers or sales staff.
• Ensure funds and lien releases are correct before processing titles.
• Maintain accurate and complete title applications and schedules.
• Report status of missing or problem titles to management.
• Cross-train team members on title clerk duties.
