OPENLANE is seeking a Title Clerk to verify and process incoming titles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and state/federal laws. The role involves collaboration across departments without direct reports and requires meticulous data handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of data entry or title work experience required.
• General automotive knowledge required.
• Notary license within 6 months of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and input title information into the system.
• Verify payment status and check titles for accuracy under state law.
• Re-assign titles and provide supporting documentation for sales confirmations.
• Scan titles into electronic format and create shipping labels for daily sendouts.
• Ensure titles reach the correct purchasing dealer or buyer and assist with inquiries.
• Run title reports and respond to title inquiry emails.
• File titles awaiting payment in secured cabinets and assist with audits.
