Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Title Specialist to process and manage vehicle titles onsite at our Carmel, Indiana headquarters. The role focuses on accurate title processing for dealer title operations, with emphasis on attention to detail and timely handling of documents.

The candidate will identify issues, use state law knowledge where applicable, and work with internal Title teams to ensure clean title workflows. Onsite role with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in handling documentation or paperwork in a corporate or office environment.
• Experience in data entry and other repetitive tasks.
• Proven track record of handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of Google suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify title issues and escalate to the Title Issue team to troubleshoot and resolve.
• Process vehicle titles from multiple states, meticulously checking for accuracy.
• Scan titles into an electronic format; create shipping labels and send titles to buyers.
• Return titles for voided sales to reduce turn-around times.
