Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group in Harlingen, TX seeks a Registration / Title Clerk to process titles and registrations and to complete car deals by verifying documentation.

The role involves data verification, state form completion, tax and fee disbursement, and submission to the state, along with managing title transfers and envelopes, and maintaining logs. 1–2 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies data, completes state forms, makes disbursement for taxes and fees, and submits to the state.
• Processes new car and pre owned registrations on dealer’s software system
• Processes pre-owned vehicle title transfers
• Prepares and distributes title envelopes
• Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax, title and license payable and lien payoffs
• Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller
• Maintains registration logs
• Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data to documents
• Attends weekly department meetings
