Capital Automotive Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team. You will process and maintain vehicle title and registration documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Sales, Finance, Administration, customers, and lienholders to complete the title process from start to finish, entering data into dealership systems and meeting deadlines.

• Organize title transaction files and archive documents as needed.

Capital Automotive Group is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Automotive Title Clerk to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for processing and maintaining vehicle title and registration documents while ensuring transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working with detailed paperwork, enjoys staying organized, and can keep up with deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with Sales, Finance, Administration, customers, and lienholders to help ensure a smooth and accurate title process from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process vehicle titles for customer purchases accurately and efficiently
• Process out-of-state title and registration work
• Issue tags and registrations through the North Carolina DMV
• Communicate with lienholders regarding title issues, disputes, and other documentation needs
• Process refunds, write-offs. and other title-related transactions
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and tracking records
• Maintain organized files and records of title transactions, including filing and archiving documents as needed
• Enter title and registration information into databases and dealership systems
• Review documentation for accuracy and identify missing or incorrect information
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Administration, and other departments to resolve title-related issues
• Ensure title work is completed within required timelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous dealership or automotive title experience preferred
• Familiarity with North Carolina DMV title and registration processes is a plus
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to successfully complete required pre-employment background screenings
