Job summary

Capital Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Deal Auditor to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This detail-oriented role reviews vehicle sales and lease transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

You will work with sales and accounting to review deal jackets, verify calculations, and post transactions, helping our fast-paced automotive operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with dealership accounting or deal processing preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to complete required pre-employment background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and post vehicle sales and lease deals.
• Review deal jackets and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Balance debits and credits and verify deal calculations.
• Ensure schedules and transactions are submitted and processed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with the Sales Department to obtain missing or corrected documentation.
• Calculate and post sales commissions.
• Review bank contracts and deal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end reporting for Accounting Managers and dealership locations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and customer information.
• Identify discrepancies and work with the appropriate departments to resolve them.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Capital Automotive Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Deal Auditor to join our team! In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring vehicle sales and lease transactions are accurate, complete, and processed in accordance with company and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, catching the little details, and keeping thins moving in a fast-paced dealership environment. You'll work closely with our sales and accounting teams to review deals, verify documentation, process transactions, and help ensure everything balances correctly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Comfortable working with numbers, financial information, and detailed documentation
• Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred
• Experience with CDK or other dealership management systems is a plus
• Accounting, finance, or deal processing experience is a plus
• Must be able to successfully complete required pre-employment background screenings
