You will ensure accuracy, meet timelines, and stay up-to-date with changing DMV regulations while supporting customers and colleagues across the dealership.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential; notary is a plus, and teamwork is emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

• Three years DMV title processing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of DMV regulations and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Process documents for state registration and ensure tax and title paperwork are in order.
• Process bills, contracts, warranties and service contracts for DMV submission.
• Meet company timelines in processing titles and resolving title issues.
• Check for accuracy of forms and ensure all sections are signed.
• Verify accuracy of vehicle sale and purchase prices.
• Maintain files of sales, prices, payments, warranties, and contracts.
• Research vehicle titles and resolve related issues promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally within timelines.
• Stay updated with DMV regulations and implement changes.
• Perform general office duties and assist management as needed.

What You’ll Do:

Processes documents for state registration, completes the proper paperwork and ensures tax and title documents are in order

Processes bills, contracts, warranties and service contracts that must be sent to the appropriate agency, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles

Meets company timelines in processing titles and resolving title issues

Checks for accuracy in all documents and ensures that all required parts of forms are filled out and signed

Additionally, checks for accuracy of vehicle sale and purchase prices

Maintains a file of sales, prices, payment, warranties, service contracts and other pertinent information related to the sale or transfer of a vehicle

Researches vehicle titles and resolves issues in a timely manner

Consistently responds to customer inquires and requests in a professional manner within company timelines

Continues to train and research to stay up to date with all state regulations since these may change periodically

Consistently keeps abreast of changing regulatory information by monitoring Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) websites and ensures that their practices are in alignment with updated regulations

Performs administrative duties in the office such as filing, copying, and other duties associated with documentation and service

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

What You’ll Need

Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required

Knowledge of Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) and DMV Board Regulations

Three years of DMV title processing experience

Notary not required but a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Commitment to excellence and high standards

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
