Job summary

BMW of Bridgewater is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Accounting & Title Clerk to join our Accounting Office. The role emphasizes accuracy in DMV processing, title administration, and dealership records.

You will manage NJ registrations, trade titles, dealer swaps, and wholesale title work while supporting cross-training in related accounting tasks in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership accounting and DMV/title processing.
• Familiarity with Dealertrack DMS preferred.
• Knowledge of New Jersey registration and title procedures is a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process NJ vehicle registrations, plates, and titles with accuracy.
• Handle NJ trade-in title transfers and lien releases.
• Inventory vehicles in Dealertrack and maintain records.
• Manage dealer swaps, titles, paperwork, and payments.
• Book wholesale vehicle purchases and related title work.
• Follow up on outstanding titles with lienholders.
• Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
• Maintain organized records and coordinate with internal teams.
