Job summary

Toyota of Scranton is seeking an Automotive Title Clerk to handle car deal registrations and DMV documents, reporting to the Office Manager. The role requires accuracy, compliance, and a customer-centric approach in a busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities include preparing tax and title documents for PA and out-of-state deals, submitting transfer papers to the DMV, and maintaining title records with Notary presence. Prior title/registration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with title and registration processing required.
• Accounting or automotive dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares tax and title documents for Pennsylvania and “out of state” car deals.
• Submits all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
• Monitors compliance of PennDOT contract.
• Receives and processes paperwork from the F&I department.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins as needed.
• Prepares and finalizes wholesale paperwork as needed.
• Reconciles payoff and title related accounting schedules.
• Maintains Notary Public for the state of Pennsylvania.
• Maintains a professional appearance, and work environment.
• Will assist in out-of-state titling processing when needed.
