Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager in Hartford, CT with a strong automotive background. You will be the face of ACV in your territory, building relationships with dealers and driving growth across accounts.

You will travel daily, service dealerships, and use Salesforce for reporting and pipeline management to meet or exceed sales goals while delivering excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years dealership experience in used or new car sales.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience selling to dealerships and auction knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily to dealerships.
• CRM experience and pipeline management.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and build out new business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and via phone, looking for incremental growth opportunities.
• Utilizes Salesforce on a daily basis for reporting and tracking purposes.
• Achieve or exceed established sales goals.
• Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups and leverage these relationships to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Be very familiar with the competition and how to sell against it.
• Forecast and report incoming business activity on a monthly and annual basis.
• Ensure both customers and prospects have a detailed understanding of our products through a consultative selling approach.
• Ensure current customer satisfaction by responding quickly and accurately to problems, concerns or needs.
