Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager with a strong automotive background to drive growth across dealerships. This role is a dynamic field-based position requiring travel to existing and prospective dealer partners to grow ACV Auctions’ footprint.

You will leverage your dealership experience, build relationships, and use Salesforce to track pipeline and performance. A proactive, energetic approach and the ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 year(s) Dealership experience in used or new car side.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience selling into dealerships and auction knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Ability to be on the road every day, traveling to dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and build out new business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and via phone, seeking incremental growth opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce for reporting and tracking on a daily basis.
• Achieve or exceed established sales goals.
• Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Forecast and report monthly and annual business activity.
• Educate customers on ACV Auctions products and services.
• Adapt to changes in book of business and internal structure.
