Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service delivery vehicles, heavy duty tractors, and trailers across multiple manufacturers, working with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems in some locations.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A CDL - Preferred.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements as required by the job.
• Repairs UPS diesel and electric vehicles.
• Ensures vehicles are maintained regularly and timely.
• Operates standard/manual transmissions and tools as needed.
• Maintains safety and PPE compliance.
