Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of delivery vehicles powered by diesel, gasoline, or alternative power sources.

You will troubleshoot and service hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine control while working 8–10 hour shifts, with a 5:00pm–1:30am schedule and varying hours as needed. UPS provides weekly pay, extensive training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Willing to work full-time shifts, overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meets applicable DOT requirements per job assignment.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles and pneumatic tools.
• Uses diagnostic equipment and scan tools as part of maintenance tasks.
• Maintains safety and works in environments with varying conditions.
