Job summary

UPS automotive technicians maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers. Responsibilities cover diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems; troubleshooting hydraulics, brakes, electricals and engine controls.

The role requires an active state driver’s license, willingness to work 3rd shift (6:00PM-3:00AM, Mon-Fri), and ownership of a basic set of hand tools.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B CDL - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Bends, stoops, climbs stairs and stands for long periods.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Uses power and pneumatic tools.
