UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a diverse range of vehicles and propulsion systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative power sources. The role requires flexibility for 3rd shift schedules, with uniforms provided and a focus on safety and tool use.

Starting pay is $40.35 per hour. This permanent position offers competitive benefits, paid vacations, and opportunities for overtime depending on location needs.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.

Responsabilités

• Meets D.O.T requirements.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
• Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
