UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join its fleet maintenance team in the United States. The role involves maintaining delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls while adhering to safety standards. The position requires a valid driver's license, flexibility for second/third shifts (including various weekly schedules), and owning

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• CDL license preferred; must obtain within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
• Exercises hand grasping and reaching as necessary to complete tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
