Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. seeks an Automotive Technician to maintain a diverse fleet, including delivery vehicles, tractors, and trailers. You’ll work on diesel, gas, and alternative propulsion systems, troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

Shifts include 2nd or 3rd, with various schedules by location. Must have tools and a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. UPS offers weekly pay, training, benefits, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and PC.
• Possesses a full complement of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, kneels, climbs stairs, and walks as needed.
• Operates standard and manual transmissions; uses power tools.
