Tony Hawaii Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician (All levels) at Pacific Nissan in Waipahu, HI. This role supports the Service Department and reports to the Service Manager, with responsibilities across repair execution, parts coordination, and maintaining equipment.

The technician must stay current with factory and dealership training, possess a valid driver's license, and uphold Tony Group standards such as SMILE, GREET, HELP, THANK, and GOLD in daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Repair work performed per Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Service Advisor on repair status and any extra work needed; coordinate with parts department.
• Document all work and recommendations on the repair order.
• Must stay current in mandated factory and dealership training.
• Maintain both personal and company tools and equipment.

Job Title: Technician (All levels) Department: Service Reports to: Service Manager Effective Date: 3/30/23

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Repair Work- Performs work as outlined in the Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Communication- Communicates with Service Advisor about the status of the repair, to include additional work if needed. Must also communicate with the parts department regarding parts for the repair. Advises Service Advisor if repair work results in a change in the vehicle appearance or condition.
• Documentation – Must document all work done and recommended on the repair order
• Training- Must be current in all mandated factory and dealership training.
• Tools and equipment – Must maintain both personal and company tools and equipment.
