Job summary

Glendale Nissan is seeking an experienced Nissan Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Nissan vehicles, focusing on accuracy and first-time quality in a busy dealership setting.

The ideal candidate has Nissan dealership experience, ASE certifications, and strong diagnostic skills. You will use Nissan diagnostic tools, perform multi-point inspections, document findings, and collaborate with service advisors to keep customers moving.

Qualifications

• Previous Nissan dealership technician experience strongly preferred.
• ASE certifications are a must.
• Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical concerns.
• Must provide your own tools appropriate for the position.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Nissan vehicles per manufacturer specs.
• Perform engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC work.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Use Nissan diagnostic equipment and factory resources to diagnose concerns.
• Complete multi-point inspections and identify needed maintenance.
• Document findings and repairs on repair orders clearly.
• Follow repair procedures, TSBs, and warranty requirements.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards.
• Communicate vehicle status with Service Advisors and management.
• Keep a clean, safe work area.
• Complete required manufacturer training.
• Follow dealership safety policies.

Experienced Nissan Automotive Technician

We are looking for an experienced Nissan Automotive Technician to join our Service Department.

If you are an experienced technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and doing the job right the first time, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a dependable, motivated professional who understands Nissan vehicles and can contribute immediately to a busy dealership service operation.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Nissan vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Perform engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and other mechanical repairs.
• Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Use Nissan diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to properly diagnose vehicle concerns.
• Complete multi-point inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs.
• Properly document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommendations on repair orders.
• Follow Nissan repair procedures, technical service bulletins, and warranty requirements.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established for the position.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and management regarding vehicle status and additional repair needs.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Complete and maintain required manufacturer training.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Nissan dealership technician experience strongly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Nissan diagnostic systems and factory repair procedures preferred.
• Nissan factory training and certifications are highly desirable.
• ASE certifications are a must.
• Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical concerns.
• Ability to perform work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record consistent with the requirements of the position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must provide your own tools appropriate for the position.
