Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join the fleet maintenance team in the United States. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles, from delivery trucks to tractors and trailers, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion tech.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, while using diagnostic equipment and a PC. A CDL license is preferred and must be obtained within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Active automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses full set of personal hand tools.
• CDL Class A/B (Preferred) - license must be obtained within first year.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the job.
• Operate vehicles and equipment including diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion.
• Use power and pneumatic tools to perform maintenance.
• Maintain safety and use PPE as required.
