Job summary

Rock Hill Nissan in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Automotive Technician to join the Hudson Automotive Group. You will perform repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards, test-drive vehicles, diagnose engines and other systems, and communicate with the service team about required repairs.

The position offers $70k-$100k+ per year with commission, plus a yearly retention bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation/holidays, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3–5+ years automotive technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work as listed on repair orders to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Manufacturer experience preferred
• Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
