Job summary

Hudson Nissan of Summerville is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our high-volume, award-winning service team. This open-to-closing shift offers strong earning potential, with a $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 commission/year range and a yearly retention bonus.

We provide top pay, production bonuses, day-one PTO, full benefits, and ongoing factory training in a climate-controlled facility. Nissan/Infiniti experience is preferred, and a customer-focused, coachable mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician experience required.
• Nissan/Infiniti experience preferred.
• Customer focused, self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts to obtain needed parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience Required
• Nissan/Infiniti experience Preferred
• Customer focused professional who is self‑motivated, competitive and coachable.
