Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn and lead daily operations of the automotive service center, ensuring sales, service and repair activities run safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop staff, optimize staffing, and foster a customer-first culture.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of retail sales management, 2+ years as an Assistant Store Manager in automotive, and a proven track record of achieving KPI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a retail sales management position.
• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager in the automotive industry strongly considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to manage retail and service teams, including hiring and performance.
• Develop the skills to lead and direct store staff in selling, servicing, and repairing vehicles.
• Lead store performance KPIs including gross profit, tire sales, and service dollar achievement.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on repair procedures and customer service standards.
• Schedule front and back shop staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels for operating hours.
• Review sales and performance records to identify opportunities and implement strategies for improvement.
• Assist in inventory management and parts requisitioning.
