Sun Auto Tire & Service in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, lead the customer experience, and coach teammates. The role offers a competitive pay range with bonus opportunities and hands-on development.

You’ll work with the Store Manager to ensure safe, consistent, and profitable store performance, while advancing toward higher leadership roles within the Sun Auto Network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first approach.
• Comfort using POS systems, basic computer tools, and basic math for estimates, invoices, and transactions.
• Ability to lead by example and work a schedule that meets business needs, including opening/closing shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilités

• Support daily store operations as manager on duty, including opening and closing, cash handling, facility checks, and end-of-day documentation.
• Partner with the Store Manager on scheduling, teammate assignments, shop workflow, KPI execution, and coaching to store standards.
• Lead a positive customer experience by greeting customers, documenting concerns, reviewing service history, and keeping customers updated throughout the visit.
• Present auto repair, tire, and maintenance recommendations clearly and transparently based on inspections, customer needs, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Help manage parts and tire inventory, including receiving, invoicing, returns, warranty tracking, and POS accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures, escalation practices, documentation standards, and company policies while helping the team deliver high-quality work.
