Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Store Manager in Mesa, AZ to lead daily automotive service and tire operations. You will own the customer experience, coach a high-performing team, and drive store performance with district leadership support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive service, tire, retail, or store management with a track record in sales and operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to drive performance and retention.
• Experience managing store performance, KPIs, budgets, labor, inventory, or P&L results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver a customer-first experience and build long-term relationships.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop teammates to drive performance and retention.
• Set clear expectations, maintain a safe, inclusive environment, and drive accountability.
• Analyze store metrics and execute action plans to meet targets (sales, car count, gross profit, labor, productivity).
• Own store-level P&L, drive revenue growth, cost control, and inventory discipline.
• Manage parts and tire inventory in the POS, including receiving, invoicing, returns, and warranties.
• Resolve escalated customer issues with urgency and professionalism with district and care teams as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for vendors, facilities, and equipment needs; escalate appropriately.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, organization, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support flexible scheduling including weekends, opening/closing shifts, and holidays.
