Job summary

Responsibilities

• Initiates automotive services by identifying problems and customer requests; checks warranty coverage.
• Verifies warranty/service contract coverage and develops estimates.
• Prepares repair orders with symptoms, problems and required repairs; obtains approvals; enters RO into service system.
• Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates, expected return times, and arranging transportation as needed.
• Maintains automotive records of problems and corrective actions.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date by reading manufacturers' publications and training materials.
• Demonstrates ownership to add value and improve service operations.
