Job summary

Daves Auto Sales & Service in Washington is seeking an experienced full-time service writer for our busy auto repair shop. You will greet customers, assess automotive needs, and prepare service sheets to share with the shop.

Working with technicians, you will price parts and labor, call customers with pricing, order parts when approved, print ETA sheets, and ensure the job is completed, payment collected, and the vehicle handed back.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto service writing or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to estimate parts and labor and call customers with pricing.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers about their automotive needs and write a service sheet.
• Get pricing on parts and labor based on technicians' determinations; call customer with pricing.
• If accepted, order parts and print the technician work sheet with ETA on parts.
• When work is complete, contact customer, collect payment, and return the vehicle.
