Jims Auto Service is seeking a reliable Automotive Service Writer to act as the main contact between customers and the service department. You will greet customers, write repair orders, provide estimates, and manage appointments to ensure a smooth check-in to pickup experience.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and basic automotive knowledge. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a starting salary of $55,000 per year plus vacation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service writing or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge required.
• Experience with shop management software is a plus.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license required.
