Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group in Avondale, AZ is seeking an Automotive Service Technician. You’ll perform repairs to dealership vehicles, follow factory standards, and document your work in our DMS and with our multi-point inspections.

Qualifications

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work.
• Accurate, imaginative, and seeks a high level of technical expertise.
• Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
• Prior automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify if more time is needed for recommendations.
• Master our Dealer Management System for work distribution, inspections, quotes, communication and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
