Midas Leeds West Groups in Wichita, KS, is seeking a General Service Technician to uphold safety, integrity, teamwork, and exceptional service. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs, using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and deliver quality work.

The role requires clear communication with customers and adherence to manufacturer specs while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-focused shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of MVR check and maintain clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
• Assist with comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety needs.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose automotive problems.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Perform test drives to verify repairs and communicate results.
• Maintain thorough inspection records and communicate recommendations to sales/management.
• Explain repair recommendations and estimates to customers.
