Midas | Leeds West Groups in Champaign, IL is seeking a General Service Technician to join a trusted automotive brand focused on safety, integrity, teamwork, and exceptional service. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect vehicles, diagnose problems using modern tools, complete repairs to manufacturer standards, and keep customers informed with clear recommendations.

This is a full-time, onsite role with opportunities for growth and a commitment to training, safety, and legendary customer

Qualifications

• Minimum age of eighteen years.
• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Assist with and conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose automotive problems.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers and management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
