Job summary

Midas is seeking automotive technicians to join our full-service shop in Dodge City. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a wide array of vehicles, using state-of-the-art computer systems, scan tools and specialty equipment.

A strong focus on quality workmanship and safety is essential as you work both independently and with peers to meet our high service standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to customer

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while collaborating with a team.
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension and engine diagnostics.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards in repair facilities.
• Experience with shop equipment: lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools.
• State-specific auto repair certifications and valid driver’s license.
• Own tools/equipment preferred; able to service foreign and domestic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems.
• Tires and tire repair.
• Car heating and air conditioning.
• Steering and suspension work.
• Belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling.
• Batteries, starting and charging; brakes and brake repair.
• Oil changes; check engine light; mufflers and exhaust services.
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections.
