Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking a General Service Technician to support automotive repair and maintenance in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will perform routine services, inspections, and repairs using diagnostic tools and manuals, while upholding safety standards and delivering quality customer service.

You will communicate repair needs and estimates to customers and collaborate with senior technicians and management to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Active and unrestricted driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year related automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements) to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Assist with comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety needs.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Use diagnostic equipment and computerized systems to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Maintain thorough inspection records and communicate needs to sales/management.
• Explain repair recommendations and provide estimates to customers.
