Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group, located at North Palm Hyundai, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. This role emphasizes building customer loyalty through accurate diagnostics and trustworthy service.

The ideal candidate has automotive technician experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service is expected.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management
