Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group in Kissimmee is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through trust and transparent diagnostics.

Ideal candidates have automotive technician experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. ASE certification is desirable, and the role includes opportunities for training and career advancement at a leading national dealer group.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
