Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards. You will build customer loyalty through accurate diagnoses and clear communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair order to standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction and perform repair.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and training classes.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
