Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily service operations, supervise the team, and promote all Plaza Tire Service offerings. You will be the manager on duty when the store manager is unavailable.

You will greet customers, assess vehicle needs, provide quotes, and guide repairs with a focus on service and sales excellence. This full-time role offers advancement opportunities and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone using standardized service techniques.
• Listen to concerns, inspect vehicles, and verify service needs using service history.
• Recommend services and document all recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time, and update customers daily.
• Cash-out procedures include review of multi-point inspections and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
